These terms and conditions apply to all bookings of stays, campsites and related services made through our website. The terms are in accordance with Norwegian consumer legislation as well as guidelines from Klarna, Vipps and other payment providers where this is used.
Camp Mefjord offers campsites, accommodation and related services to consumers. Contact information can be found on our contact page. The company is registered in the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises and complies with Norwegian legislation.
A binding agreement is entered into when you have completed the booking and receive confirmation via email and/or SMS. We reserve the right to cancel bookings in the event of errors in price, availability or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded in full.
All prices are quoted in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) and include VAT where applicable. The price shown at the time of booking is the current price. If there is an obvious pricing error, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to confirm or cancel the booking.

Payment is made at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed. When using Klarna or Vipps, their terms and conditions apply in addition to ours. Payment information is handled in accordance with the current security standards of the payment providers.
The booking is valid for the agreed date, duration and type of space or room. The stay is carried out at Camp Mefjord in accordance with the information provided in the booking confirmation and on the website.
It is the customer's responsibility to arrive at the agreed time and to comply with the applicable rules of conduct, safety rules and terms of use for the area and facilities.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to fixed-term services such as camping and accommodation, cf. Section 22(m) of the Cancellation Act.
Any rules for cancellation and changes are stated in the terms of sale and booking confirmation. Non-attendance without cancellation does not entitle you to a refund.
If the stay or service deviates significantly from what has been agreed, this must be reported to us as soon as possible and no later than within a reasonable time. Complaints are handled in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
No warranty is given beyond statutory rights, unless otherwise expressly stated. Any warranties do not apply to limitations of rights under Norwegian law.
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR). See our privacy policy for more information. When using third-party payment services, their privacy policies also apply.
If you are dissatisfied with your stay or service, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority or use the European Commission's complaint portal (ODR).
We are not liable for loss or damage caused by the customer's own use of facilities, breach of rules or circumstances beyond our control. In any event, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking in question, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory legislation.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions. Changes do not apply to bookings that have already been confirmed. The terms that apply are those published at the time of booking.
These terms and conditions are governed by Norwegian law. Attempts will be made to resolve any disputes amicably, and if this is unsuccessful, the matter may be brought before the Norwegian courts.
